TANTITA & TOMPOLO'S REMARKABLE CSR: THE CASE OF UGBORIKOKO POLICE STATION,UVWIE LGA
The remodelling of Ugborikoko Police Station Building, robustly equipped with modern facilities and gadgets in Ugborikoko in the heart of Uvwie LGA in Urhoboland is worth commenting.
Driving through DDPA Housing Estate popularly known as Bendel Estate, I didn't recognise the Ugborikoko Police Station because the entire landscape has changed. Then I saw a sign post for the Ugborikoko Police Station.
I asked who built it and was told it was built and donated by Tantita Surveillance Company owned by Tompolo. I know such edifice couldn't have been built by the NPF or the government.
I criticise Tantita and Tompolo more than any person in Nigeria. But I commend what is worth it. I wish other companies can do same by contributing their quota like this. Delta would have been a better place.
I commend Tantita and Tompolo for this public building which is aimed at enhancing security in Warri and environs. I criticise no matter who and what is involved and I commend as well if public good is done.
Tompolo is not the only billionaire in Warri and Environs. There are major NNPCL contractors who make more money than Tantita but they won't spend it for the benefit of the public.
Security is a major challenge in Nigeria and if someone and his company could contribute to enhance security then he/she is worth commending.
Tantita and Tompolo. thank you for building the best police station in Nigeria. I am told Ugborikoko police station is the best police station in the entire country.
Tantita and Tompolo has not asked me to commend them for building a modern police station with modern facilities and gadgets. I will criticise when there is need to do so and I will commend if there is need to do so.
I know of other major oil surveillance contractors doing bigger contracts with NNPCL and also from the South-South but no impact on the common good.
I don't want to name names but they know selves.
