Whats-all-the-fuss-with-the-ongoing-osun-state-governorship-election

WHAT’S ALL THE FUSS WITH THE ONGOING OSUN STATE GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION
What do we expect from the majority of Nigerian politicians? Are they not bunch of irresponsible politicians without conscience in the APC, PDP, SDP or what have you? Of course, they are the same group of politicians. The entire Nigerian politics is marred with a lot of irregularities whether it is PDP, APC or SDP. They all do the same thing. Just look Delta State, since 1999, all Councilors and Council Chairmen are PDP, does that mean that no party can win any local govt ward elections? All these alleged massive rigging in this dispensation were started by the PDP politicians and have now been perfected by the same politicians defecting to other parties. I feel bad when I see all these untruthful and dishonest attitudes of Nigerian politicians. We have always stated clearly that APC and PDP are birds of same feathers and dominated with people without conscience. No foreigner will fix Nigeria for us.
However, I personally respect and have high regards for President Muhammadu Buhari, Bola Tinubu, Adams Oshiomhole and Great Ovedje Ogboru for their resilience in being politically-stable by remaining steady in the opposition/minority parties for all this long before their ascension. But the majority of Nigerian politicians are nothing but ‘political prostitutes’ who are very unstable and lacking the required political strength.
I always ask this simple question in our Delta State: What is the financial status of Uduaghan, Okowa, Utuama and the rest of them before joining Delta State government? Put all their legitimate salaries and allowances together and donate it to one of them it will still not make any of them a billionaire. How many factories and viable businesses do they own before joining Delta State government? There is no history of wealth connected to their name. Our Olorogun Michael Ibru was known to have a history of wealth from his fish businesses that sprang into aviation, constructions, banking, Insurance, farming, brewery, oil & gas (Queens oil), oil marketing, shipping, real estates, communication, electronics assembly plants, and down to hoteling across the globe. But for these irresponsible politicians, who were they before this era?
Their only reason for contesting elections and joining active politics is to make themselves wealthy and in turn make the people poor. I don't care who they are? I don't regard them as anything. Most of them up there in govt at all levels are big thieves as simple as that, but the Urhobos are claiming the ownership of the thieves with their usual language of "they are our brothers and sisters, it is our money, and so what?" But until we shun them, shame them and tell them off we will continue to see all this nonsense. Is that how the UK, US, France, China, Japan, etc., got developed? Obviously not! I am not a member of any party. However, I don't visit government houses from the local government councils up to the State Government houses.
However, as regards the Osun State Governorship election, those Politicians shouting because of the alleged rigging of the said election which did not favour them, should just keep quiet and eat their shame. It is time for the PDP to swallow their very own bitter pills, which other political parties have been suffering from them for many years. Why are they complaining now? Is the PDP, no longer the largest political party in Africa as they claim and sang in time past? The APC is now in the driver’s seat, so let them see how it pains. When the PDP-led Government started this alleged rigging in 1999, we warned them then, but they thought that they were smarter than everyone else. They would tell you: “Nothing De Happen! But Na Something De Happen nah! They are now the ones shouting that the world is watching. Which world that is watching? The US have their own internal problems and important global politics to deal with. The UK have their Brexit “wahala” to contend with. Do they think that President Trump and Prime Minister Theresa May will leave their own problems to come to help solve the problems Nigerian politicians have created themselves? They must be joking.
