The Clan of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori's defenders (paid, rented and voluntary) against Zik Gbemre's selfless advocacy for good governance in Delta state is growing by the day.
For me it is a healthy development, proof my advocacy is getting to the corridors of power. My disappointment is in the pettiness in the manner of feedback, where nonentities with no convincing argument are paid to just engage in name calling and blackmail in falsehood to get favour from Gov Oborevwori.
Days after dealing with the abuses from wretched Olori Magege, one self glorified Kenneth Yugbovwre, claiming M.Phil from the Trinity College Dublin in Conflict Resolution is blabbing from Ireland, picking on me for perceived attack on Governor Oborevwori.
This conceited Kenneth Yugbovwre hails from Aladja Town. For a no-hoper wanting to feel big, he will always give self away as a phoney. By ascribing conflict resolution expert to self in Ireland, he already proved he lives on menial jobs.
Where is the conflict in Ireland, Dublin in particular he wants to resolve? Assuming there was conflict in Ireland, the last person the country would engage to lead resolution of the perceived conflict is a refugee running from conflict and hardship in his country, Nigeria, to seek asylum in Ireland?
To prove self as a conflict resolution expert, this 'ohwiphophen' in Dublin should come home to display his expertise. There are enough conflicts in Nigeria to deal with.
Even his native Aladja Town has been in unending communal war with neighboring Ogbe-Ijoh. I bet he can't come home to his community in peace. You sit in your refugee comfort zone in Dublin to blab and raise propaganda about a Delta you ran away from for not giving you opportunities for self actualisation.
When was the last time he visited his community and Delta. He wants to paint to those on ground a picture of an eldorado Delta far from the arrested development the PDP hegemony has subjected the state since 1999. It's not about Oborevwori. It's about a conspiracy of sloppy governance the ruling party lay down, but Oborevwori has a chance to make the difference.
So with no justification to call me names, he's copying and paste campaign of calumny, falsehood that has been over flogged about me. It changes nothing. Am not fazed by it.
Wretched Magege harped it days ago. That I have represented my community (Iwhrekan) in dealings with oil multinationals. That I grew under the benevolence of my dear Uncle, Chief JKB Gbemre and betrayed his trust. All gibberish.
Pa Chief J.K.B Gbemre was a father. He never diferentiated between us and his biological children and I respected him for that. I was one of the closest persons to Papa when alive and served him as a father. I was closer to him than any person in the entire Gbemre family.
Go to Iwhrekan Town and ask and you will be told as others who had doubted. Go to Iwhrekan and ask any native of Iwhrekan.The records are there and can be verified. Pa Gbemre was my father indeed.
Zik Gbemre has never held any executive position in Iwhrekan till date and no one has been able to disprove that. I am an opinion leader in the community based on sincerity and reputation.
I have never represented Iwhrekan community in any oil company, never in my life represented Iwhrekan community. As an elder in my community I live with my people and never involved in Iwhrekan leadership, politics and benefits sharing.
On the wider horizon, I am not interested in appointments and political patronage. The blackmail from millions of Kenneth Yugbovwre will not stop me from my advocacy on public probity. Governments have tried, they never could stop, talk less of rental blackmailers.
The Dublin you live, is that how Nigeria your home country looks like? Don't you see beauty of good governance in Ireland where you reside. In the 60s, 70s down to early 80s,Nigerians who studied in Europe and Americas returned home after the studies because there was a decent country full of opportunities to come home then.
