THOSE WHO WAR AGAINST PRESIDENT BUHARI ARE ONLY DOING SO FOR THEIR SELFISH INTERESTS AND NOT THE INTEREST OF COMMON NIGERIANS
It has become quite evident that those who war and fight against President Muhammadu Buhari and his administration from all angles, are doing so, not necessarily because they want to bring a about any concrete change in the polity that would positively impact the lives and living standards of the common masses, as they often claim, but rather, they are doing so primarily because they want to always have unrestricted/unrestrained access to the collective wealth of the country, which they want to continue to keep within and share amongst their families, friends, close aides and cliques. And as such, their intention is to put and keep the country, specifically the common masses, in perpetual abject poverty and penury. In other words, these group of people are not against President Buhari because they really want the good of Nigerians, but they are doing so for themselves.
The desperation of these group of persons is even more scary and disturbing. They have made it known that they are ready to go to any length and do whatever it takes for them to find their way to the top political leadership of the country, and from there 'maintain the status quo' - which is only in their favour but to the detriment of the Nigerian people.
These political desperados and gluttonous wolves in sheep clothing, what evil have they not hatched, planned and perpetrated in Nigeria's political space, just to have their way and realize their selfish interests. They even became more desperate as the 2019 general elections approaches tomorrow. From their alleged plans to prevent Buhari from contesting the 2019 Presidential election with all kinds of trickery from their evil plots, to the unimaginable evil against the land.
On several accounts, we have seen these desperate politicians use their various arsenals to 'destabilize Buhari's government from within, prevent him from performing, and make the Nigerian people hate him. For instance, Alh. Atiku Abubakar was alleged to have bought all farm products to cause hunger, in the name of his animal feeds. We have also seen how Senate President Bukola Saraki and the House of Representatives Speaker, Dogara, were allegedly working against and impeding Buhari's progress through delay of national budgets passage and padding, and cutting down cost of critical infrastructures projects/programmers of the Presidency from budgets.
These group of politically exposed persons that are sadly, all over the Government at all levels, have also tried to 'discredit Buhari' and turn the Nigerian people against him. The Killings by obviously trained and sponsored militias falsely dubbed "Fulani Herdsmen", is one of the results of this evil plot.
They also tried to 'disqualify Buhari's candidacy'. This was seen when the Senate President and Speaker, were said to have allegedly advised the APC, against the party's constitution, not to hold the National Convention but to keep Mr. Odigie Oyegun as its Chairman, a trap that would have simply led to the disqualification of APC from the Presidential election without remedy, just the same way the party has been disqualified in Rivers and Zamfara States.
Since that did not work, they have allegedly hatched plans to 'rig out Buhari through stuffed ballots in manual voting'. To justify this plan, let us recall that Senate President Saraki amended the Electoral Law and removed Card Reader and PVC from the draft law. They also planned to 'rig out Buhari through hackers'. To this end, Saraki again for the second time was alleged to have amended the Electoral Law and removed physical counting of ballots and announcing of results at polling units to everyone, instead he introduced "electronic transmission" of results online, and announcement of whatever figures are shown on the system at INEC, without counting ballots physically or manually to ascertain accuracy! And this is why the riggers and their acolytes were shouting in frustration when President Buhari patriotically withheld assent to the fraudulent amendment. Their next line of planned action is to 'defeat Buhari through the judiciary.' And they tried doing this by allegedly buying off of former CJN, Walter Onnoghen, to constitute Elections Petitions Tribunals with compromised judges alongside himself in order to give dubious judgments and award the Presidency to the PDP at the Supreme Court, where it is impossible to appeal or change any judgment.
These evil politicians, have also hatched plans to allegedly 'cause chaos and incite civil unrest if Buhari wins'. And that is why they started their pre-election false accusations that President Buhari wants to rig the election, even when all evidences show and point at them as historical riggers who have not repented, nor shown any aversion to rigging. And this is besides the fact that Buhari's popularity still pulls unprecedented mammoth crowds everywhere, while Atiku's rallies are scanty everywhere, and where they have crowds, such crowds are usually hired with their Dollar rain.
Like we have stated in past articles, there are only two tribes in Nigeria, the super-rich elites that are mostly in politics to continue to reap/steal our collective wealth, and the general common masses whom these political elites have continued to keep in poverty and penury. That is why tribalism and religious sentiments are nothing but 'artificial problems' created by these selfish political leaders for their own personal and selfish interests. That is why it was noted some few months back that only 350 Nigerians (out of the over 180 million Nigerians), are responsible for more than 80 per cent of the N5. 4 Trillion debt portfolios of the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria. That amount is said to be over 50% of the 2018 budget of the country.
These cliques of greedy and desperate politicians have also come up with the song that President Buhari is not the one in-charge and ruling the country but some supposed cabals. The reason for this “false song” is that these cliques of few persons have not been able to, and cannot call President Buhari to order, make him do their biddings and control his government, just the way they manipulated former President Jonathan to sign plain cheques for them without accountability.
What does all of this tell us, that there are indeed a political class whose trade and stock is to continue to impoverish the Nigerian people and keep the wealth of the nation amongst themselves, families, friends and close allies. And the best way for them to achieve this is to grab 'political power' by all means necessary. This is very evident in their 'desperation moves' in recent months. But on the other hand, we have another set of political leaders like President Buhari, who has not demonstrated such desperation for political power, and has even let go of half of his salary as President, just to demonstrate his willingness to bring himself low to the point of the common masses and empathize with their pains in an economy that was bastardized for 16 years of the PDP Government, which cannot miraculously be healed within four years. All we are saying is that Nigerians should wake up and smell the coffee, and decipher what has been happening in the country to be able to make clear logical judgment at the polls.
