THE ONE QUESTION GOVERNOR OKOWA MUST ANSWER
There is expedient need for Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to answer to Deltans and explain how and where he got the enormous money he is said to be allegedly sharing to Professional Bodies/Associations, Civil Service Workers, Labour Organizations, etc., within the past weeks, and which he is still allegedly sharing at the moment all over Delta State?
Where did Governor Okowa get the said free money he is allegedly sharing? Is it from his saved salaries as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, or as a Governor? The reliable information going round is that Okowa is allegedly sharing ten to twenty millions Naira to each different Trade Group, Professional Group, etc. Whether it is true or not, Governor owes it to Deltans to come out and clear the air by explaining how and where he got the said alleged money being shared from?
And what is essence of such clandestine action? Why is Governor Okowa allegedly spending so much on these stated group of persons? Is to stand a better chance to become a re-elected Governor? Or what does he expect as his profit, after allegedly carrying out such a unexplained moves? Concerned Deltans and relevant stakeholders of the State, should question and hold the Delta State Governor accountable to every kobo allegedly said to have been shared amongst these groups.
While this alleged act should clearly tell Deltans the kind of a supposed Governor they have, and the need to have him removed from that office, this issue should also not be swept under the carpet by those concerned. There is need to get to the bottom of this serious allegation.
