NIGERIANS WAKE-UP AND WISE-UP – THE DEVELOPED NATIONS DO NOT REALLY WANT US TO SUCCEED AND DEVELOP
The reason for the subject matter is simply hinged on one sentence – if Nigeria gets to attain a full development status to be reckoned with across the globe, who will the developed super-power nations like China, Japan, UK, US, Switzerland, Sweden, etc., ‘exploit’ for their own continuous growth? As hard as this may sound, that is the bitter truth. Why did the slave trade era succeed? Amongst other factors, it is ‘primarily’ because these developed countries are parasites, they really do not have anything concrete in terms of natural endowment like we do have here in Nigeria, and other parts of Africa. These developed nations are nothing but parasites, who live on the blood and sweat of their hosts.
Why do we think all the politically-exposed persons who have, one time or the other, stolen public funds from Nigeria are usually left to starch their loot in the banks of these foreign countries, and even allowed to roam and walk free? They only raise an eyebrow and pretend to be helping us recover/repatriate some of the stolen funds, after they must have used such funds in their banks for the benefit of their economy.
Some months ago, Switzerland announced that around $321 million public funds looted by former Nigerian military ruler, Sani Abacha will be returned to Nigeria. The money, originally deposited in Luxembourg, was confiscated by a Swiss court in far back late 2014. Now the question is, why did they keep the said Abacha loot all this while in their bank vaults? Why did it take them all these years to plan to repatriate the said loot which belongs to Nigeria? Are they telling Nigerians that they are tired of keeping the stated loot, which obviously has contributed in improving their financial economy, and they now want to return it? The simple conclusion here is the fact that the Government of Switzerland are nothing but ‘co-collaborators’ with corrupt Nigerian political leaders in perpetrating this crime of looting our nation’s treasury to use same to better their lot and other developed countries. They have been doing this for donkey years, while the Nigerian people are left suffering in hunger and penury. While our Nigerian youths are dying every now and then or being sold as slaves, in their bid to cross the Mediterranean Sea and Sahara Desert in search of greener pastures that are not really there, they are busy cooperating with each other to worsen the state of the country. However, we blame the Nigerian political leaders for all of this; for causing abject poverty in the country and using our collective wealth to better themselves and the lives of foreigners.
Nigerians and its political leaders should open their eyes and realize that this is “international politics” – where every nation for itself first, in seeking for its ‘interests’ before any other thing. So, they really do not care about Nigeria’s development as they claim to portray. It is all ‘pretence’. Nigerians should not be under any illusion that these foreigners want us to succeed as a nation. No, they do not want us to succeed because if we succeed who are they going to exploit? This is international politics. So, we should not trust these foreigners because they really do not like us, they do not want us to settle. They want Nigeria to continue having security challenges so that they will keep having somewhere to sell their guns and weapons of war? The Fulani cattle rearers that we hear today, when did they really started carrying AK47? Was that their practice in rearing cattle years ago? This is just another guise, another name. It is no longer Boko Haram, it is now Fulani Herdsmen. These people want us to keep having problems in the Niger Delta region, so that they can continue to steal the crude oil and meet their ships on the high sea, where they buy and sell in hard currencies – money for their government. And plus, they must sell their guns and weapons. Who buys these guns? It is the few idiots amongst us, that still pay them for their guns.
These people want Nigeria’s economy to remain a ‘mono-economy’ so that we will keep importing (capital flight) all the other products/materials gotten/produced from petroleum resources and natural gas. So, do you think they are happy any time the Nigerian Government succeeds at somethings? Obviously not! That is why it would amaze many to know that most of the propagandas and fake news we see today being used to paint the President Muhammadu Buhari bad, are actually being sponsored by these people in collaboration with corrupt former Nigerian politicians, some of whom are still roaming abroad free, despite the massive corrupt-atrocities they had committed against the Nigerian people.
These foreigners want us to continue importing refined petroleum products, which we have in abundance here. They do not want our electricity to work because they want us to keep buying their generators. Today, Nigeria’s economy is generator-driven. If Nigeria should have stable and efficient power services, we are very certain that Nigeria would no longer import generators from China and other foreign developed countries. And so, with everything; Nigeria will no longer go and do shopping in their countries - we will no longer buy their clothes, shoes, canned foods, industrial and safety materials/equipment, etc.; Nigeria will no longer send their children to study in foreign countries; Nigeria will no longer patronize their hospitals; Nigeria will no longer export her crude oil and natural gas at a cheaper international-market-determined rate and then buy refined petroleum products at a higher price, and import commodities produced from crude oil and natural gas as well. We can see that the developed countries are seriously feeding fat from Nigeria and Africa. Why do we think that China and the rest are investing so much in Nigeria and Africa? To them, Nigeria is their number one market in Africa. If a new car is produced and advertised today, within a few weeks, we would see the fleet of the same newly manufactured cars imported into the country’s automobile market. In other words, these foreign countries, largely depend on Nigeria in the sales of their commodities.
The developed countries may not want us to develop as we should, so that Nigeria will continue to economically and financially-tied to them, and also patronize exports. If Nigeria is developed, the Nigerian youths with their talents and special skills will no longer troop to Europe and America to help them run and develop their foreign countries. Nigeriens with talents and special skills are drifting to these foreign countries to help develop their economies, and that is how they are also making a lot of money from Nigeria via their Visa application fees, which they remit back home to their foreign countries.
It is therefore foolishness for Nigerian political leaders and its people to think that the advanced countries will help us to grow our economy. These developed countries know very well that if we become developed like them, we will become an economic threat to them. That is why, despite the fact that the developed countries are seen to preach against racism, segregation, division, anti-sematic, and all kinds of names they give them, they are still the ones practicing these things in high degrees within and outside the countries, especially when dealing with Africans/Nigerians. It is all pretence. Even the American Democrats who preach liberalism, they are just pretending about all these. The Europeans and Americans know the Nigerian weaknesses and they want things to remain as they are with Nigeria. The Nigerians living in North America and other places do not want to accept the bitter truth, and they keep on deceiving themselves in foreign countries. These Nigerians are being used by these developed countries to continue building their countries. They have their own internal problems and they will never come to solve your problem for you. Nigerians, we need to wake up and wise up!
There is no better time other than now, for Nigerians to wise up and start making the necessary changes they urgently need to turn things around for good in this country. We really do not have the luxury of time on our hands to think that the world would wait for us to wake up whenever we like. Every nation is speeding up ahead and overtaking those they can, in the race of development and economic domination, prominence and recognition. Nigerians, we seriously need to wake up and wise up! We simply cannot continue like this a s a nation. We have heard of Brexit, which is obviously aimed at protecting the economic and territorial integrity of Britain amongst the European Union countries and people trooping freely into the UK. Very soon, it will be USexit, and they will start throwing out non-Americans, and will only allow brief visits into the US. This is because these people have kept on changing their laws to protect their countries. What has Nigeria been doing to protect herself, and become a global attraction for others? Even in China, where Nigeria import practically all its generators’ needs, they are already treating Nigerians very badly. When will Nigeria learn? Very soon, we will hear of Chiexit, Canaexit, Francexit, Italexit, Germanexit, or all kinds of exists proposed by developed countries to keep Nigerians and others out of their lands.
We strongly believe it is about time for all Nigerians, regardless of our obvious differences, to wise-up in-respect of projecting a united front and common interest, against the enemies of the nation who want us to remain divided for their personal interests. So, let us not be shaken, but to support and pray that the current government will continue to succeed. Those Nigerian politicians who are helping and collaborating with these foreigners to milk the nation dry, should be flushed out of the system. Soon, Nigerians will start seeing these people for who they truly are – “enemies of Nigeria.”
