HOW THE MIGHTY HAS FALLEN-A LESSON FOR NIGERIAN PUBLIC OFFICE HOLDERS

The above Picture is from a facebook post.

No condition is permanent, according to Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe. These two men, Ibrahim Babaginda and Authur Nzeribe, used to be very powerful. One was a military politician while the other was a civilian politician. Though, Babaginda was very active in the military politics of this country. But today Babaginda and Nzeribe are no longer active and nobody recognises them any longer. The important politicians of today may not be active in few years to come.
Michael Ibru was once the richest man in Africa, but now Aliko Dangote is the richest man in Africa. Those who undermine people today, do not know that they will be undermined by others in few years. Today, they hardly talk about Abiola except during June 12. But in the past, Abiola was a household name. This is a lesson Nigerian big men should always learn from. Most Nigerians forget that they will one day go out of fashion and become redundant like the above two prominent Nigerians - Babangida and Nzeribe.
Nigerian public office holders should not forget that one day, they will vacate their seats of power no matter how long. And as soon as they vacate the seat of power, so also will the power vacate them.
