DELTANS WILL DECIDE THE END OF GOVERNOR OKOWA AND THE PDP DYSFUNCTIONAL ERA AND STRONGHOLD ON DELTA STATE SINCE 1999
Saturday March 9, 2019 Gubernatorial election in Delta State, is not just another election as usual. But it is an election that will change the course of history of the State, change the current trajectory future of the State to a more brighter one, and turn the tables around (politically and economically) in the interest of all Deltans.
It is an election that will liberate and free Deltans, especially the common masses, from the stronghold of the PDP dysfunctional and distorted era that has been in existence since 1999, but which only favors few politicians and their boys to the detriment of the public. It is an election that will decide the end of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and the PDP Government that has been here in the last two decades.
It is an election that will bring about the end of the era of youth restiveness; end of bad governance; end of decaying infrastructure across the State; end of vote buying during elections; end of a Government without people-oriented focus and vision; end of abject poverty and unequal distribution of the State's wealth, which has been enriching few Deltans to improvish the common people; end of all the anomalies that have been hindering the socio-economic and political growth of Deltans and Delta State amongst other States; and the end of so many other things you can think of that are wrong in with this PDP state administration era.
In one of his famous quote, which Peter Tosh and Bob Marley used in their hit songs; US Abraham Lincoln noted that: "You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time." Voters in Delta State should wise up and refuse to be taken for a ride by the Okowa-PDP-led Government for another four years again. It will be nothing short of disaster and a huge mistake. While we are glad that a lot of Deltans are no longer being deceived by this sham of a Okowa Government, the rest still being blinded by this deceptive Government should wise up and wake up from their slumber.
The Okowa-led-PDP Government should realize that they have overstayed their welcome, hence they should be getting ready to pack their things and leave the Delta State government house. What Delta State lacks, and desperately needs, is good governance, and not zoning of political leadership. Delta State is in desperate need of a focus Governor with great potentials and vision for the people, and not somebody who only project theories on papers and lofty ideas that do not impact on the lives of the general masses. Deltans and Nigerians in the Delta State, should come out in their numbers on Saturday March 9th, 2019 Gubernatorial election to end this PDP era and stronghold for good. It is time for a taste of something new and different in Delta State politics.
